Perception is a Minneapolis-based boutique public relations consultancy.  Founded in 2007, we help clients create the positive perceptions that are critical to building enduring relationships and successful engagements with the audiences that contribute to their success.

Jeanne Carpenter

Principal

Jeanne Carpenter’s career has been distinguished by her commitment to both business success and service to the community. She founded Perception INK in 2007 with a core team offering public relations, executive visibility and corporate marketing.

Previously, Jeanne was executive vice president and director of public relations at Kerker Marketing Communications. Before Kerker, Jeanne was senior vice president of marketing and business development at the Minneapolis office of Weber Shandwick Worldwide, the world’s largest public relations firm.

Jeanne also held management positions at the Star Tribune newspaper in community relations, sales and marketing. She is a past president of the Minnesota Advertising Federation and a recipient of its Paul Foss Award for contributions to the industry, its aspiring students and to the community.
